Beyonce Calls Faked Pregnancy Rumors 'So Stupid'

'It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy,' she tells People in the magazine's Most Beautiful issue.

Back in October, Beyoncé shot down a rumor that she was wearing a fake baby bump after an appearance on an Australian talk show. When Beyoncé sat down for the interview, it appeared that the bump deflated, prompting many to wonder if the pop singer was really pregnant or faking it.

Now, months after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, Beyoncé is talking to People magazine, about the gossip. "That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy," she says in the Most Beautiful issue, in which she was named the world's Most Beautiful Woman, TVGuide.com reports. "[I thought] 'Where did they come up with this?' It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid."

The chitchat didn't just bother Beyoncé. Her mother also opened up about the allegations in the interview, adding, "I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother, it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous."

In the magazine, out now, Queen B addressed not only the baby bump controversy, but also her commitment to being sexy, even at nine months. "I committed to the end and wore my kitten heels. It makes me laugh thinking about it," she said. "But after many hours of labor, I didn't care how I looked. It was all about the miracle that God gave me — the opportunity to deliver a human being."

Acer Iconia Tab A510 review

We'll stop just short of quoting Top Gun here, but if it's speed you crave, these next thousands of words could have you emptying your wallet. How's that for an opening line? To be honest, it's been quite some time since any of us Engadget editors booted up a brand new device and immediately let loose a stream of expletives -- all expressing unbridled delight, of course. Such was the beginning of our meet-cute with Acer's Iconia Tab A510, the company's first Tegra 3 slate, and the second to ship with Ice Cream Sandwich.

Apart from that 1280 x 800 TFT LCD display, this 10-incher looks, feels and performs nothing like its predecessor, the A500. Turbocharged with that quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM, this Android 4.0 tablet joins a crowded category with a generous 32GB in built-in storage and a reasonable $450 price tag to match. So, does that excellence lose its luster with more extensive use? Is your money better spent on any of the other umpteen tablets running ICS? Will the lack of a higher-quality display prove too much of a con for your exquisite tech tastes? Follow on as we probe the A510 for answers.

House of Octomom to Be Sold at Auction?

Amid her escalating financial problems, the La Habra, Calif., home of "Octomom" Nadya Suleman is scheduled to go up for auction Monday, according to reports.

Suleman and her kids could face eviction if the house is sold.

This, obviously, would compound her problems after recent allegations she had been neglecting her 14 children while spending hundreds on Brazilian blowouts.

The vile living conditions at Octomom's house led to a visit last week from police officials and social workers, but her kids haven't been taken away ... yet.

The complaint said the children appeared to be malnourished and unclean, and Suleman locked them in their rooms while she attended to personal matters.

The social workers spent about two hours there, and somewhat surprisingly determined the Octo-children were not in danger and should not be removed.

Nadya, who had six kids before she welcomed octuplets, has already been on the cusp of foreclosure numerous times in recent years, and just went on welfare.

It's unclear whether she'll be evicted after today's auction, or if Steve Hirsch will buy it in an effort to coerce Octo into doing some film work for Vivid.

We're kidding about that last part ... mostly.

LightSquared founder Philip Falcone to step down 'eventually', attempts to dodge the bankruptcy bullet

In an effort keep the troubled LightSquared from the brink of defaulting on its debt, its founder will step down from the company. While it doesn't look immediate, (people "familiar with the negotiations" are using the word "eventually") it's Philip Falcone's latest attempt to extend a debt-term violation that expires this morning. According to the same sources, if the initial extension is okayed, Falcone and LightSquared's lenders are aiming for a greater period of around 18 months to repay $1.6 billion in loans and pass the FCC's requirements for its network. The company's board is still deliberating on whether to accept the deal, which would stop the company filing for bankruptcy protection. Unfortunately, it looks like those new 4G network dreams just got hazier.

This Artist Thinks Small Aluminum Cubes Are the Future Of Music Distribution [Music]

We can't knock him for trying new things, but we're skeptical that musician Nicolas Jaar's innovative new approach to music distribution—a small minimalist aluminum cube—has what it takes to go after iTunes or Amazon. More »
